We invite you to visit The Vassily Polenov Fine Arts Museum and National Park in Tula region. We are glad to see visitors who wants to get acquainted with the works of the great artist of the XIX century Vassily Polenov, to see the nature where the artist lived and worked, to know the traditions and comfort of the Polenov estate, to breathe in clean coniferous air. The large house, built on the top of the hill above the Oka in 1892, still retains its original appearance. The house was created according to the projects of the artist himself: architecture was a long-standing passion of Polenov. The house is wooden, three-storey, with white walls (it was plastered in 1897), on a stone foundation.

The Gingerbread Museum in the Kremlin is a landmark place where modernity is intertwined with historical traditions. A unique author's project of a group of designers and confectioners from Tula, aimed at popularizing the traditions of gingerbread business. We are a living and developing project that meets modern requirements for new forms of information submission. The gingerbread Museum is a space for conducting master classes, specialized excursions and classes interesting for both children and adults.

The museum is located in two old buildings in the very center of the city. The exhibition ‘Old Tula Pharmacy’ is located in the Belyavsky House, while the neighboring Kraft House is home to the exhibition rooms. The museum collects and studies the histories of Tula families, famous citizens, and local communities; it examines the structure of the city, its toponymy, symbolic spaces, and mythology. The museum funds contain more than 10 thousand exhibits from the 18th — 20th centuries: sculptural and architectural works, art and craft items, paintings, graphics, military equipment elements, military uniforms and military paraphernalia, ancient documents and photographic materials, rare books and newspaper publications, as well as household objects and memorabilia from the family archives of the city’s residents.
