The company was founded in France in 1977 and currently occupies a leading position in the international market for sanitary products. Wirquin products are represented in 75 countries around the world.
Since 2005, WIRQUIN products have been represented on the Russian market by the trading and manufacturing company Wirquin-Rus LLC.
In 2013, the WIRQUIN group of companies acquired the Russian company VIRPlast, one of the main players in the Russian sanitary fittings market. The VIRPlast company produces drain fittings, connections for washing machines and sanitary products.
