Autonomous Institution of the Chuvash Republic "Agency for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the Chuvash Republic" of the Ministry of Economic Development and Property Relations of the Chuvash Republic was established in 2021. The main objectives of the agency are to create favourable conditions for the development of entrepreneurial and investment activities in the tourism industry of the Chuvash Republic; to develop tourism and supporting infrastructure, including for people with disabilities; to locate tourist and recreational sites on the territory of the republic; to promote the tourist brand of Chuvashia at the regional, federal and international levels; digitalisation of the tourism industry; comprehensive coordination of tourism activities in the region between all participants of the Chuvash tourist market in order to increase the attractiveness of Chuvashia as a tourist destination, as well as the implementation of tour operator activities.
