Our group started its business in 1969 with transportation services in Pendik, Istanbul, and laid the foundations for its entry into the mining sector with quarry management in 1973. We continued to develop our mining activities in the Marmara Region. In order to expand the variety of products we produce, we engaged in the production of AGGREGATE,LIME,READY-MIX CONCRETE,ASPHALT,PREFABRICATED CONCRETE ELEMENTS, and BUILDING CHEMICALS. To transport our products to customers, we established a strong LOGISTICS fleet. As of 2010, we also started selling CONSTRUCTION IRON.All facilities, machinery, vehicles, and real estate used in the realization of the products and services we produce are our group's assets. KarGroup, combining 50 years of knowledge, experience, and project power with its professional team, established KarKim Building Chemicals.
KarKim started production at its factory in Gebze/Kocaeli in December 2011. Our products, using state-of-the-art technology, are produced with a capacity of 50 tons/hour in a fully automated filling, packaging, and palletizing system, within a 2,400 m² closed and 5,000 m² open stock area. Our ongoing investment in the Orhangazi - Bursa facility started production with a capacity of 80 tons/hour in 2014.
Our Elazig factory, with a capacity of 35 tons/hour, started production in April 2020 with a fully automated production facility covering 13,200 m² open area and 3,250 m² closed area. Our products include various subgroups of construction chemicals, such as concrete and mortar additives, cement-based waterproofing, thermal insulation mortars, tile and ceramic adhesives, grouts, repair mortars, and floor coverings, representing an important branch of the construction sector.
