Modum-Trans LLC is the largest operator of freight trail transportation, the leader by amount of gondola cars with increased load capacity on the Russian Railways network.
The company provides rolling stock for the transportation of various cargo nomenclatures and for rental use, it is engaged in freight forwarding support of cargoes through the Russian Railways network and foreign countries across the entire 1520 track.
The main share of the Company’s fleet is accounted for by universal gondola cars, 2/3 of which are with increased load capacity. Modum-Trans fleet is one of the youngest in the Russian Railways network: 6,9 years old with a network-wide age of 11,2 years.
The Company cooperates with key coal mining enterprises and actively interacts with leading manufacturers of non-metallic materials, cement, fat and oil products, chemical products and other industries.
Since the end of 2022 Modum-Trans has been actively involved in the exportation of containers from the ports of the Far East.
The Company takes the first place in terms of loading coal for export.
