Karjala Pulp is a group of companies in the Russian timber industry sector, one of the leading players in the global newsprint market.
The company's production facilities are located in the Republic of Karelia – today these are the key enterprises of the timber industry in the region, providing a full production cycle: harvesting, transportation, processing of timber, and production of finished products.
The company's priority is to diversify its product line. So, in 2021, Karjala Pulp introduced a new product to the market – EKKO consumer paper, an eco–friendly alternative to the usual office paper. In 2023, the company increased the production of packaging paper, following the trends in demand for packaging and reducing its weight.
The group of companies employs more than four thousand people.
