xWeld (IKSVELD LLC) is a joint project of scientists, engineers, designers of Perm Polytechnic University, engineering companies and manufacturing enterprises of the Perm Territory, organized with the aim of jointly implementing a comprehensive project for the development and launch on the market of industrial equipment for hybrid additive technology. The formation of medium and large-sized metal products using the fusion of wire material is a key feature of the developed technologies and equipment. The solution eliminates the problems associated with the low productivity of existing methods, the high cost of the equipment used, the limited types of materials used, due to the traditional use of powder systems as a starting material for additive formation of products.Since the launch of the first sample of AT-300 additive surfacing equipment in 2019, the interest of manufacturing enterprises in hybrid technologies has only increased. Technologies increase the time and costs for the production cycle of large-sized installations.
Currently, the company produces xWeld Portal portal additive plants for the industrial production of large metal parts weighing up to 4 tons. If you need to produce parts with especially complex geometry, the xWeld project offers the supply of additive complexes "RoboM-1000," capable of building metal products in 4 and 6 axes. Cultivation technologies for titanium, nickel, aluminum alloys, bronzes, steels have been developed. The mechanical properties of the resulting materials of the parts are ensured at the level of rolled products, and for some products they reach values characteristic of forged materials.
