Since 2021, SPI robotics has been the official distributor of the Chinese manufacturer Pudu in Russia. During the pandemic, SPI (Smart Protection Items) integrated indoor disinfection robots into large office spaces, followed by robots for cafes and restaurants and promoter robots. In 2023, robots for cleaning large commercial premises were added, and at the moment this is the most promising area of robotics.
Service robots are designed to take on heavy, routine, or dangerous work. Businesses are actively interested in robotics because they see the possibility of significant savings in process automation. The introduction of modern technologies (including the use of AI) attracts the attention and flow of new customers to commercial institutions, and as a result increases profits.
The most promising area of business robotics is cleaning. The CC1 robot is a worthy alternative to a scrubbing machine with a cleaning capacity of up to 1000 square meters. m per hour, which does not need to be operated by an operator. In addition, the robot significantly reduces the consumption of water and detergents by almost 10 times (compared to a scrubbing machine). The savings for service organizations are obvious: the robot does not need to pay a salary and monitor. With the help of a robot, the human factor of cleaning processes is minimized – the floors are really cleaned, and not just a mark is put in the magazine. Cleaning robotics is actively scaling in the Retail sector, office spaces, warehouses and industrial premises.
Pudu robots integrated by SPI robotics are also employed at several factories in Russia. They deliver materials and blanks up to 300kg between workshops and production lines. Thanks to a well-tuned paging system, the robot can not only be sent to a pre-programmed point but also be called to upload to any location of the production facility.
