DRY PORT BLAGOVESHCHENSK is the largest logistics railway terminal in the Far East, being built in the village of Berezovka, Ivanovo district, Amur region. The multifunctional container terminal is designed to handle and transship cargo imported and exported to China and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
The project involves creating a modern infrastructure to provide services for the transshipment of containerized cargo between rail and road transport to service the cargo flow between Russia and China via Blagoveshchensk. The Dry Port site will house a complex of structures and technical devices designed to perform logistics operations related to the reception, loading and unloading, storage, sorting, cargo handling, as well as commercial and information services for consignees, carriers and other logistics intermediaries. The terminal will handle various types of cargo, including containers, gondola rail cars, covered wagons, oversized equipment.
