Basic characteristics:

• combines 3D-measurement and X-ray which are mounted together in one scanner frame;
• detects the true shape of the log and at the same time reveal its internal properties;
• bark thickness can be measured, measurements give information about diameter under bark;
• already at the log sorting line can determine the quality
• and sort the logs to match product requirements later in the process.
