About company
Since 1947 ACIMGA, the Association representing Italian manufacturers of machinery for the graphic, paper and converting industry member of Confindustria, has been setting the standard in the industry both in Italy and internationally.
ACIMGA is part of a national and international network designed to ensure a wide variety of services as well as adequate worldwide promotion of the industry for its members; the network includes Confindustria, Federmacchine, Federation of the industry Associations for Paper, Printing, Converting and related Technology, Italian Institute of Packaging and the international associations Globalprint and Eumaprint.
Italy is world leader in making machinery for rotogravure, flexographic and converting and has always been strongly inclined toward exports, with about 250 Italian industrial sized companies (with a workforce of about 7,900 employees).
There are also many medium-size and small firms specialized in technology that creates a winning synergy based on organizational evolution, innovation and technological development.
About outlet markets 60% of turnover is absorbed from packing and packaging, 30% is destinated for graphic arts industry and the rest is for various sectors.
Acimga Members represent more than 60% of the industry turnover and 70% of exports.
