Acron Group is a leading vertically integrated mineral fertiliser producer in Russia and globally, with chemical production facilities in Veliky Novgorod (Acron) and Smolensk region (Dorogobuzh). The Group owns and operates a phosphate mine in Murmansk region (North-Western Phosphorous Company, NWPC) and is implementing a potash development project in Perm Krai (Verkhnekamsk Potash Company, VPC). Acron Group owns transportation and logistics infrastructure in the Baltic Sea region and distribution networks in Russia and China.
Russia is the Group’s priority market. In 2005, Acron founded Agronova distribution arm, which currently comprises ten specialised agrochemical companies ensuring direct access to consumers in the main farming regions of the country. Agronova companies provide mineral fertiliser delivery, sales and storage services. The distribution network has a total storage capacity of 189,000 tonnes.
In 2021, Acron Group shipped 1.2 million tonnes of its products to more than 60 Russian regions and remained one of the largest NPK suppliers in the country. The Group launched a new online fertiliser store Acron agromarket so that small and medium-sized growers can easily buy high-quality Acron fertilisers without intermediaries.
In 2021, the Group produced 8.5 million tonnes of commercial products. Acron Group employs over 11,000 people.
