Absheron-Sharab OJSC is located in Mekhdiabad Settlement. It is about 15 km away from Baku, Azerbaijan. The winery was established in 1967 and, in 2003, it was reorganized into Absheron-Sharab OJSC. It is equipped with the latest equipment from the world's leading suppliers. The diversity of European grape varieties as Cabernet, Sauvignon, Saperavi, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay as well as local sorts, Madrasa and Bayan Shire are used in the wine production. Today the company produces more than 50 kinds of wine and cognacs, natural fruit liqueurs, fruit tincture and other alcoholic beverages. Production capacity is up to 1.5 million bottles per month.
